Lots of beautiful beaches and shoreline. Many camping sites as well as cabins. Boat docks are great. Got in and out with ease. Much to see! Great place! War museum on site!

Very clean, well kept and beautiful campgrounds. Restrooms and showers clean. We had reservations but arrived at 4:50pm and the office was closed. We completed the late check-in as instructed. The lady in the office the next morning was a little snooty saying we didn't check in correctly. Once I informed her that we did do it correctly and she realized it was her mistake, she changed her attitude. That being said, we enjoyed our stay and will return to stay here when we are in the Finger Lakes region. Sure wish they had full Hook-up.

Sampson State Park is a beautiful, well-kept New York State Park in the heart of the Fingerlakes. As a past military base, it has a great history. You can camp, bike, picnic, rent a cabin, take a drive, go boating, and tour it's military museum. Sampson has some great weekends such as the antique RVs and the Wine Country dog show.

Went to a dog show. Great venue for it. Saw some awesome dogs in beautiful surroundings

Very nice semi well maintained. Roads suck and it could use more dump stations. Also the loop 6 sites have zero facilities. It could use a central bath house. If u tent camp or r not self contained the nearest restrooms and showers are super far away and there is no water avaliable either.
