Where’s the meat? The good: the service. Yes, he’s very nice and you get a free tea but that doesn’t make up for the few grams of meat they put in these sandwiches. The bad: hardly any meat. I ordered the #1 with extra meat and it still had less than half the amount of meat you’d get anywhere. We also got the grilled pork #4 and we’ll, see for yourself. Definitely not worth it.
I cannot tell you how valuable customer service is to myself in my family. But the gentleman behind the counter goes way beyond the norm the minute we entered he introduced himself as if we were returning or 1st time customers then gave us the highlights of his menu and what was the most popular. He is covid conscious so he takes one person in or 1 party in at a time to take orders this is a take out place. Additionally he tells you he will bring your order to your car if you just let him know which car is yours. On top of it he gave us complimentary Jasmine tea that was very tasty for our wait. He actually came back out to our car with a small pitcher and ask us if we wanted re films he said he was so sorry our order was taking a little bit of extra time. After thanking him he returned with complimentary cookies were we waited. When he brought our order out he added some fruit for dessert again complimentary. I don't live in the area anymore but my daughter does and she said he was such an amazing soul she would take a walk from her home just to say Hi and give the place another go round. She must have said 3 times how her heart was so warmed by his kindness and it is so rare yet so easy to just be nice. Anytime I am in Orange County I will come in and order again I highly recommend this place. The experience will warm your heart too. Oh and the sandwiches were delicious!
My gf asked me to pick up some food while I was in the area and she sent me here. I met Vu VuDu! and he helped me out. He was kind, delivered exceptional service, and I enjoyed my brief conversation with him. He also gave me a complimentary treat to take home to the family! I appreciate your generosity and efforts made, and my family and I are enjoying our meal. Thank you, we will be ordering again!
Great Vietnamese-Style sandwiches. I teach across the street at Cypress College and wanted something different so I tried Sandwich House. Very pleasantly pleased. Love the bread - crispy-flaky crust, soft inside. In fact, the sandwich was so big I couldn’t finish it. And the owners are just so nice…they bring the food out to your car no place to sit inside - small store and he noticed I was eating in my car so he brought me an iced tea. Great service and food. A few tables and chairs outside would be a great addition, but I guess most people take it to go. I’ll be back!
My new favorite spot! The owners are absolutely incredibly kind, welcoming and wonderful to talk to. I’ve never had Vietnamese coffee before but now I’m hooked. The perfect beverage for a hot day! In addition to the best customer service, they have a plentiful menu of freshly made foods and prepackaged snacks. I absolutely adore the owners and give this place 5/5!
i know everyone has their favorite Ban Mi sandwichesZ. And these are mine. not only is the service awesome and friendly and sometimes results in free stuff for big orders but the bread has always been perfect and fresh and the sammie’s are delicious. My daughter has been coming here since her college days. They are the nicest people. Business has slowed down for them since the pandemic. Support your local business. We still keep coming back even though we don't live in the area. My daughter enjoys their sandwiches. I'm not a sandwich person, but will have their noodlesFood: 5/5
My wife and I got two house specials, iced coffee, and iced green milk tea. Sandwiches were about $7.50 each. We both like the sandwiches. They were light and flavourful. I don't eat cilantro but for some reason I was fine with cilantro in it. Iced coffee and green milk tea were TOO sweet. We both added water to dilute and then they were good.
This was a great experience we stumbled in too the owner himself is quite a treasure and a rarity in today's business. Who would think such a small little sandwich shop would give you in sight to how people should be in life. The sandwiches tasted that much better because the owner himself gave such amazing customer service was so personally invested in his customer's happiness and just a joy to be around. I absolutely encourage you to stop and say Hi and grab a bite to eat you have a smile on your face from this kindness. And you will likely leave with a free cookie.
Some restaurants you just want them to succeed, this is one of them. The guy had just such a happy friendly demeanor and the food was great. We came a little early and we were the only people, but shortly after many people started showing up. Sandwiches were delicious, well balanced, not too heavy I like heavy sandwiches as well. The noodles were pretty good, but the main is the sandwich. I prefer the french roll over the croissant, but both were good. He randomly hooked us up with some free snacks. Will definitely go again and recommend to my friends. I wish him and his family success and happiness. This restaurant, the food, and the guy just made my day and made me smile.
