Welcome to Sax Deli & Grill, where just about everything is house-made and always cooked to order!

We start our mornings slicing fresh meats, veggies and cheeses, taking great pride in preparing our food fresh daily hours before we open.

Fresh hand-cut French Fries and hand-patted Burgers are big favorites, along with many more delicious items like grilled Sandwiches, Paninis, house-made Soups, garden fresh Salads, and our signature Chocolate Chip Cookies, ALL prepared using only quality ingredients.

We're happy to use local vendors when we can and serve our community quality food with a smile!

Generally..great sandwiches and fries. Lost one star for inconsistency over several visits. Sometimes the fries are fresh and awesome, sometimes you'll get all the end bits that look like they were in the fryer too long. But when it's good, it's real good. 

If you're from NY/NJ you should give this place a try.

I had to update my review from 5 to 1 star. I have lived in Hendersonville for 5 years and when I first moved here until about a year ago the service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. If I was going to spend the  money to eat out, this was my first choice in the area. Now the staff is rude. The first issue I had was when I went in and go to order my food and the girl working the counter looks and me irritated and says we are not open yet. I was so confused because the door was unlocked. It was 5 min until they open. I walked out of there and didn't return for 9 months. When I decided to give them another chance I encountered the same rude girl and I don't now if it was the food but my son and I got horribly ill after eating it. 

26Aug2017 Tried Sax's again. And it is an extreme disappointment. My husband went to grab food and it was close to closing. Ordered the Cheddar bacon burger and the bacon is burnt and the onions are dry and hard to chew. It is so sad that this establishment has declined so much. Used to be one of my favorite/weekly places. Not sure I will bother trying to eat here ever again.

We love this place! The BLT and the fries are so freakin' good! My husband got the grilled cheese and it's the cheesiest grilled cheese in the Nashville area!

Pleasantly surprised- huge menu! Food was great and came out quick!! I had the feta chicken sub with fries and my husband had the Rachel with feta pasta salad. The only things I would change was how soupy the pasta salad was and the type of bread the feta sub was on. The white bread was a little soggy. The fries were amazing!! We'll be back soon!

OMG. Those darn fries are so good. Is that cocaine they put on them? I'm sure its not. but wow. Never a sandwich that is well worth the stop.
