Bought a Sears Craftsman hammer many years ago. Recently the rubber handle cracked and looked like it might come off completely. I took it in to Sears Whitehall PA and I was cheerfully referred to the hammer aisle and told to pick out something comparable. No receipt required, no "original owner" inquiries, no accusations of owner abuse. Great experience. I'd certainly buy Craftsman hand tools with total confidence. Disgraceful! Called and made an appointment yesterday for oil change. Cashier put me in for an estimate(?). Mechanic gave me a hard time about where I parked. Took my business elsewhere.
