Purchased a treadmill and paid for installation. Delivery was cancelled once by Sears so took second day off. Guy delivered it and told us he’s not responsible for assembly. Contacted Sears and was told that someone would be out today to assemble. 5 hours later, trip back to store and I’ve lost track of phone calls- I’ve been told there is nothing anyone can do and I have to wait another day off from work. Horrible company. Zero customer service. No “upper management” you can talk to. No one cares about the customer. No one admits they screwed up. No one wants to do anything to rectify the situation so that it’s convenient for the customer. (Rating is ZERO but can’t post with rating)

Some lights are out, there's hardly an employee to be found to pay, and the store is almost completely deserted. The two employees I could find were both, very very slowly ringing, and asked the people in front of me in line if they wanted a gift receipt, or to sign up for a credit card. Then the cash register malfunctioned. I have never been so tempted to shop lift, because it shouldn't take 30 minutes to pay.

Hardware Customer service is unbelievable they great right away, ask if you have questions, and they help me find what I'm looking for to the best of their ability. They got great deals and prices I will definitely be coming back!

We're getting married in two days. Some of our guests were kind enough to ship the gifts they got from our registry to our house instead of bringing them all to the venue. We received a cheese plate (about $13 retail) in a box with some other items that was broken in half. The receipt was stickered right to the plate. We brought the damaged plate to this Sears location, found the exact same plate in store, and brought everything up to the register. The manager on duty, Chris, was entirely unhelpful and combative, and refused to help us at all unless we could provide the email address or phone number of the person who sent the gift. The guest who sent the present is the daughter of my parents' friends who have known me since I was little. Long story short, I don't have contact with the guest who sent the gift and don't have either her phone number or her email, neither of which was provided on the shipping receipt (which still hadn't even been removed from the broken plate). His solution was to return the item online, where we would be required to spend more in shipping and handling charges than the plate actually cost. Absolutely ridiculous. Entirely regretting doing our gift registry at Sears, especially considering the quality of the employees they hire. Never shopping at any of their locations again.

Customer service is just awful. You will be lucky if they return a phone call or ever answer a phone. Combine that with terrible online customer service and it just isn't worth shopping with them.
