An unprofessional and unwelcoming employee has provided one of the worst retail experiences I have had while shopping. My wife and I, both in our mid-twenties, had stopped at this Sears and were exploring the mattress section because we are researching different brands for purchase. I'm not sure if the mattress saleswoman thought we were teenagers, but she briskly walked up and snapped to not lay on the mattresses, before she ran back to her computer on the far side of the floor. I can understand that she may have an exhausting job dealing with children playing on the mattresses, but that does't justify her behavior to serious customers. My wife and I were not abusing the merchandise, but merely laying on the beds to test the different brands, soft-vs.-firm, etc., which I believe is the reason the mattresses are available on-site. If we wanted to purchase a mattress without testing it first, then we would shop online. We were serious customers who were essentially told that our business wasn't welcome, so this extreme lack of customer service will prevent us from returning to this Sears for our mattress shopping, as well as any other future needs we may have.

Worst horrible customer experience and I've ever had we bought a washer and were told we could return it within 30 days if we weren't satisfied we ended up bringing it back in a few days they said their policy changed and they could no longer issue returns we were told by Mark that appliances we're different when it comes to the return policy although they admitted that return policy is not on the receipt it is something new they started doing... I would definitely avoid this place if you're looking for appliances go to Lowe's or Best Buy their customer service is way better

No wonder so many Sears stores are closing. Went to buy NordicTrack elliptical today. None of the ones on display were even in the store. Ended up buying one on display instead of ordering one & waiting 2 weeks or more. Fitness equipment is crowded in corner of tool section. Sales guy ignored us until my husband went to the desk & interrupted whatever he was doing on the computer. We were only customers in entire tool/fitness/leftover Christmas baby clothes dept. Got home to discover power cord not with machine. Called back to store & no one answered phone in the dept. It was 4:00pm. Called again at 4:30pm & still no answer. Will drive back to Sears tomorrow.

Crappy lawn equipment. My dad had to return several weed eaters in a month. They don't last.

Tried to buy curtains, no one would check us out or help us so left them laying and purchased elsewhere .  No wonder they are closing so many stores !!!!!!!
