Stay away from the appliance section. This place is ridiculous. Purchased a $650 dishwasher and paid $169 to have it installed but the employee didn’t tell me I nay have to pay an additional $125 when the installer gets to the home. Since the dishwasher was hardwired and they don’t do that anymore, I had to have an outlet installed. So what was the $169 for then, just to drop it off and plug it up? I could’ve had my electrician install an outlet for much cheaper and installed the dishwasher myself had I known. Stay away. Good thing they’re going out of business and closing. Good riddens

Six months ago, my mother purchased a pair of Ray-Ban prescription glasses from Sears. Today, we came back to the same Sears location to have the hinge on the frame fixed. To my astonishment, we received the worst customer service in my recent experience. The representative told us that they could not be fixed in store, nor could they be sent anywhere to have this hinge fixed; we were told the only solution was to purchase another frame for the glasses for $90. I have been coming to Sears for minor repairs to glasses and sunglasses for over 10 years. This is the very reason we purchased the glasses at this location. Needless to say, I will be notifying all of my friends and family of our horrendous experience, and recommending they not visit Sears any longer.

NEVER WASTE A DIME OR TIME AT SEARS- Meriden AGAIN !!! Sears Automotive Department in Meriden, CT was very rude, unprofessional, and lazy. Came in for oil change and associates were tinkering on their cellphones and chatting amongst themselves as if they were home or with friends. Asked about making an appointment and was told they were very "busy" and that no appointments were available. Asked about coupon and was told the coupon expired even though I pointed out the coupon expires on January 31, 2018. Asked about specials for winter tires and was told that I could ask when I come back for oil change but was never asked to schedule an appointment for another date. Left Sears Auto and immediately went to Firestone and purchased 4 new tires w/ alignment plus full tune-up including oil change and scheduled to have my brakes done later in the week. Very pleased with Firestone. Sears lost yet another customer.

I want to say thank you to the night crew that was working tonight and stayed late so I could exchange my air conditioner and my pregnant wife can sleep comfortably tonight. You were all extremely helpful in all the departments. I was completely blown away by the level of communication you all had with each other. A+++ staff!
