Serenity Spa NoMad combines an upscale nail salon in the front with a truly professional day spa in the back. Do not confuse Serenity with the typical one-on-every-block nail salon that offers chair massage and facials, or even the many Asian bodywork places. This is a serious, high-end massage experience that rivals the major spas in hotels and resorts. The therapists are not manicurists moonlighting between pedicures; they are full-time professional massage therapists

The staff and owners are attentive and courteous, and the facility is large, bright and airy. In fact, I have been so impressed with the services at Serenity that I have signed up for their VIP program, which provides a full massage every month, along with discounts on all other services. It's definitely worth it, and I will be a Serenity Spa client as long as I'm in the area. Five stars.

Hidden gem!  The spa is very open and bright, despite being tucked away in a building.  The massage I received from Carmen was excellent.  The customer service from start to finish was top-notch!

I was a little nervous after realizing it was more like a nail salon than an upscale spa.  However, I had a great experience.  Nino was my person and she was nice and friendly, not annoying and did a great job.  She gave a wonderful face massage during one of the masks and it was heavenly.  Overall, great experience and I would go back to her.  She did the extractions and it was painful as usual; however, she did a good job.  My skin looks really fresh and radiant today.  I'll go back.

The Serenity Spa has been one of my favorite places to go since I’ve moved here in the city! I had my first massage here (it was wonderful) and I get my nails done here about twice a month. The staff is so sweet and accommodating! Also the place is the cleanest nail salon I have ever been to! Highly recommend!

I was really disappointed when I called today for an appointment.  I live right down the street and asked for a walk-in for a foot massage.  It was 7pm.  The receptionist said she was sorry, but there would be no time to take me (since they close at 8pm), even though I told her I live right down the street.  I asked her if they were booked.  She said, "No."  I asked if they could do even a half hour foot massage, and she simply (and rudely) said, "No, I'm sorry, we don't have time to take you in."  

This is terrible business practice, and I hope the management of Serenity Spa will look into this.  I live right down the street and could have been in by 7:10pm for a 30-minute massage, which would have been finished even before they closed.  I completely would have understood that they couldn't take me in if they had been booked, but it seemed that this was simply a receptionist who wanted to leave early...
