An excellent local rustic place, with super, friendly, laid back owner and staff (thanks to Ellen and Candy for their kind hospitality!)  We stopped and grabbed a nice hearty breakfast at a great price.  Very fresh biscuits and gravy (loved the paprika touch on the top!).

Oh and just to clarify, the opening hours were incorrectly stated on here as 5pm - that only refers to the bar section (which is separate from the diner - the diner is most certainly open from 7am for breakfast!!) - i've suggested an update to the info.

We stopped by Silver Lake Cafe and Bar on the way to go camping in Paisley, OR. One side of the establishment is a cafe and the other side is a bar. They are separate from each other, but are connected. The owner was there and introduced herself before we left. She was very nice and friendly. The ladies serving and preparing our food were very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our experience and recommend the great homemade food. Stop by if you are in the area.

Cozy, down home diner with enthusiastic cooks and waitstaff, and good food. If you're passing through, it's definitely worth a stop. The cinnamon buns are a special treat.
