This place is WONDERFUL. Every single staff member that myself, my husband (yes, they are LGBT friendly), and/or my parents met during our two-night stay were professional, knowledgeable, lovely, and kind. I am going to specifically mention Elizabeth, who was just a joy! It's very laid back, yet classy, and you just can't beat the price! I booked through Travelocity, and only paid $77 per night per cabin, plus tax, during the off season. There is a staff kitty named Dot, who basically runs the place. She spent the night in our cabin cuddling with us. It was helpful due to the fact that we were in Flagstaff for a surgery, and her purring and cuddling really helped me not miss my fur babies quite so much. Thank you everyone at Ski Lift Lodge! We look forward to our next visit!

I'm usually fine with small hotel rooms without frills, but I found the following frustrating: 1. Clock didn't have a plug in, so it didn't work. 2. The TV remote worked, but it wasn't programmed for the TV in the room, so that was useless. 3. I didn't sleep well at all because the heater is so noisy & the room would get hot, cold, hot, cold. 4. The heater in the bathroom didn't work. That being said, the front desk closes at 9pm, but the staff were nice enough to leave our key & paperwork taped outside when we told them we'll be late. Breakfast was delicious, as we had a hot plate on a Saturday morning of eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, & coffee. The room we stayed in was tired, but clean. I like rustic cabins & old places but I wouldn't stay here again unless they start fixing things. I think it's fair to expect things to work.

Food is good. Half price wings on Thursday nights tends to draw the crowds, but the staff handle the pressure with a smile on their faces. This is a pretty regular weekly stop for me and my family.

It is a great location, if you go skiing. Regular room is a half cabin, very cozy, but not very comfortable. We had a very old shower in our room and it was always cold in bathroom, because of the window. Just for couple nights this place is good and very close to Snowbowl. Maybe if I go skiing for a week, I would choose a different place. Staff there is very friendly and helpful. I've seen many people with kids, who have been there many times.

Went in the off-season and it was cheap. Very cozy and nice. Great people at the desk. Only downfall was the almost non existent water pressure in the shower. Not even exaggerating.
