I work across the street, so it's nearby, and I've been coming here a couple of times each week for the past several months. They have been nothing but kind and hospitable to me–seriously, everyone there is super–and the food is delicious. I'm a big seafood and chowder guy. I get the chowder the most–it's incredibly good (and with bacon bits!). The chowder fries are great.  big deal about sustainability, which I appreciate. Definitely check this place out.

After a few visits, I'm revising my rating from four stars to three. The food quality is a little too inconsistent for me, sometimes tasting fresh, other times less so. Despite this, the location is fairly popular during lunch, often making it difficult to find seating. The menu is unique and still draws my attention, but I won't visit as much as I thought I would after my first visit or two.

If you like seafood, this is the place for you! Slapfish is has a great selection of seafood variations, and a rotating selection of fish to choose from. I must say, it is a highly popular joint to dine at, and the few times I have been there, it was hard to find a seat, or even a place to stand to wait for my food. But if you don't mind the wait, or if you're going with one or two other people, it probably won't be a big deal. I do believe the food is worth it, and the price for the food is reasonable, seeing as it is seafood. The location is good - right off a freeway exit, and parking isn't bad, depending on what time you decide to go.

A favorite place of ours. We love their burritos and fish sandwiches. Their kids meals are great deals as well. The missing star is for their dining area. The chairs are very uncomfortable and there aren't many tables. No where for groups over 6.

Slapfish is amazing, The customer service is also great! It was my first time going..I was a little skeptical, but the cash reps help me pick something and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and the portions are huge! Would highly recommend this place!
