So this is the first time I have ever written a review. First of all, I assumed that this was a BBQ restaurant with a brewery. We walk in on a Tuesday afternoon and there is maybe 2 or 3 other customers, who are all sitting in the bar area. I am there with my wife and 2 kids and my wife's brother and his wife and 2 kids. In total, 4 adults and 4 kids, who are all pretty rowdy and hungry. No one greeted us as we walked in and I walked over to the bar and had to wait for two of the waitresses to get done with their conversation before asking them if it was open seating. After we sat down and got all the kids settled, the waitress comes and asks us if we want any beers, which I guess isn't a bad question considering that it was a brewery, but I think it is bad to ask when it's 1:00 pm and there are 4 kids around. After she brings us back the waters that we ordered, she informs us that they are out of pulled pork.......NO PULLED PORK IN A RESTAURANT NAMED "THE SLIPPERY PIG"!!!!! That information in itself removes this restaurant forever from my frequenting list. I will never go there again. I ordered a stupid grill cheese sandwich and it wasn't very good. Also, the other big reason I love BBQ food is eating potato salad. So they don't serve that here either.....Basically, if you like the beer, go here or whatever. I don't drink, so I won't ever be going again but if you want a pulled pork sandwich, good luck.

This is a fun place to get a taste of local flavor in your beer. They serve unique beers such as their stinging nettle beer, rhubarb beer, dandelion beer etc. My favorite is their Mojito Whit. While the beer here may not live up to the beer snobs taste buds, it will live up to the adventurous taste buds. For those who are not as adventurous, they do have some streamlined beers and guest taps. They have a great happy hour everyday of the week that runs till 5 or 6. The owners are great and are very supportive and involved with the community. There is a game room and board games for the kids.

While I was initially let down that there was no Sushi like I would expect from a place so near the waterfront, I was pleased to discovered there was somehow in fact beer served here. I stood in front of a very large sign that said "Please seat yourself' for ten minutes, but there was no hostess to tell me to seat myself. Lemon water is amazing.

I love that this is a brewery as the name suggests and NOT a BBQ restaurant. The food is great, the people are very nice, and the entertainment is spectacular. I also love the all ages performance time when young people can sing and play instruments, and even join in with professional musicians. Oh, and it's a brewery, so there's that.

I had the best pulled pork sandwich ever today. I almost felt bad that I recieved the last of it right before some weird, angry, rude guy asked for some potato salad( not on the menu) and got seemingly upset for a brewery having beer... Great atmosphere, fantastic service, excellent food and wonderful beer. You get what you expect from a beautiful brewery with signs that say 'Brewery' everywhere. Plus the Male owner of the bar (pretty sure his name was Leif Erickson) cured my malignant growth, saved me 38% on my car insurance, taught me how to Macarena, and got 4 dents out of my quarter panel. Top notch.
