If I could give this zero star's I would. I went in there for a layered haircut I even had pic's to show. They lady said she could do it. She cut my hair into shelves she butcher my hair. Do yourself a favor and go to great clips next door. It's the same price and the people great clips actually know how to cut hair.

My grandpa went to her two times. The first time he just wanted a trim but the lady that works there, she did a lousy job. He thought that she didn't understand him because she seemed like she didn't really know English. The second time he came here, he just wanted a trim again. This time, she butchered his hair. My grandpa is NOT very happy with the results. He was so angry at her to the point where he couldn't even ask for refunds. She is a crappy quality haircutter. Did she even go to barber college?!

Worst hair style ever! The lady had a very limited English vocabulary. How are people supposed to tell you what they want with their hair when you don't even try to communicate? She asked if I wanted my hair simple, and then mimed straightening it. I said yes. I have thick naturally curly hair. She washes it then puts a body builder in the back and Poof's it up?! She had her hands in my hair! I told her it was thick. And she wants to add volume? Where did she learn to do hair? I will NEVER go back to a Smart Style again! They need to make sure their employees can actually do hair. I had someone laugh at me on the way out of the store! So humiliating!

I'm cheyennes husband I was planning on going to 5400 s Wal-Mart for a haircut but after reading these reviews I feel these two should be fired and the customers should get some sort of refund at least a Wal-Mart gift card. You should not have to be able to speak any language other than English here in America in order to communicate with workers here in America. Go to Taylor andrews school of beauty you need to make an appointment but they are EXTREMELY professional and love taking care of their customers. They are students mind you, they are learning but if you are a woman or man that loves the salon experience and a great haircut from someone who knows what they're doing do not hesitate. Plus you are helping a student learn on a human not a doll much better. Stupid Wal-Mart doesn't care about their customers so I guess these reviews aren't too surprising. GO TO TAYLOR ANDREWS SCHOOL OF BEAUTY. MY WIFE AND I PAID 20 DOLLARS FOR BOTH OF US GOT GREAT CUTS(exactly what we wanted) PLUS A SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONING AND SOMEWHAT OF A WONDERFUL SCALP MASSAGE. MY WIFE HAD A GREAT TIME WITH THE WOMEN AND THE GIRL WHO HELPED ME WAS VERY SWEET. ALSO WE PAID 20 AND ABOUT 3 SOMETHING OF THAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE WE JUST GAVE THEM AS A TIP CAUSE WE WERE SO SATISFIED. AGAIN Taylor Andrews School of Beauty everybody.

Unless you can speak the language good luck on getting your hair cut the way you say you want it. I said it three times how I wanted my hair cut and sure the back of the head was cut right but forget about the style i wanted. Pretty much walked out the way I walked in just a little more even. I do not recommend this place and I figure if you have to pay 15.50 for a haircut it should be the way you asked for especially when you tell them three times and even express the way you wish to do your hair when its done. I can't even do that except look like a dutch girl now I could be the poster child for that 30 yrs ago... who the hell wants that kind of hair cut in the year 2016 unless you are 2 years old.
