I've gone to the same dentist for about a decade. After a bad experience, I knew that I needed a change but I was apprehensive. I really shouldn't been because Dr. Okamoto was great. Not only was a friendly but he was thorough and I felt that I had received excellent service.

After I went through 5 different dentists in DC area, I became dubious about dentists.  They all tried to make more money by suggesting unnecessary treatments.  None had integrity that doctors should have.  Mr. Okamoto is different.  He does only what is needed and does very well.  May I suggest that he changes his clinic name to Honest Dental Clinic for Smile?

High quality work, always available, always making sure everything is perfect. This goes beyond his consultation on you; this comes across with the space as well: Neat and clean always.

My husband and I have been going to Dr O for around 5 years now. My entire family has come to see him at some point with some emergency (when they come and visit me from abroad) and Dr O has always welcomed them in immediately, taken care of their issues, and even to this day, they all still consult him first before doing any major repairs. 

Dr O has made wonders with my husband, who has very sensitive gums (I should emphasize on VERY). He repaired all previous messes done on his teeth (bad root canal, bad infill on old cavities) and given my husband healthy teeth and gums, and even more importantly, taught him how to take care of them. He is also a big advocate for preventive care. I have severe grinding and he continuously finds ways to help ease the pain with preventive care. This is what I like about Dr O. 

Dr O loves technology (and as an Architect who designs medical offices, I can confirm that) and it goes into the details.  Whether it is a special tool to hold your bite while he works or a cool tool that dries your infills in seconds, anything that can help your experience be more pleasant, he has it. That is classic Dr O. 

Dr O has been out of network for us on our insurance plan for a while now. That does not stop us from going. Every service is well worth the time. We know we wont find one like him again. 

Oh, and he works Saturdays too and there is always plenty of parking.
