Story

Dr. Ralph W. Alman Jr. was born in Medford, Massachusetts. He attended Stonehill College in North Easton, Massachusetts and following graduation he attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C.. After earning his DDS degree, Dr. Alman completed a General Practice Residency at Providence Hospital in Washington D.C., and then completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C.. Dr Alman then entered into private practice in 1982.

Dr. Alman practices exclusively in Rockville, Maryland and focuses on dental implants, wisdom teeth, extractions, and corrective jaw surgeries. To keep abreast of the latest developments in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dr. Alman has always exceeded the continuing education requirements for the State of Maryland, and also holds licenses in Virginia, and Washington D.C.. He has affiliations with the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C.; he is a current member of the medical board, vice chairman of Oral Surgery Department and senior active attending for the Oral Surgery Department.

As a dedicated husband and father of 2, Dr. Alman has many interests outside of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He enjoys playing golf, reading, traveling and economics.
