BEST RESTAURANT EVER! This is my all time favorite restaurant. My family loves coming here for special occasions, dinners, or even just for lunch. Smith's has casual and fine dining and a great bar if you're into that. If you're not into the bar, the rest of restaurant has wonderful charm as well, and we can't wait until they reopen. If you're feeling fancy, then call ahead and reserve fireside seating. Or just show up and hope for the best. There's no better place to go in Cohoes or the rest of the capital region as far as I'm concerned. Chef is amazing and the wait staff are wonderful too.

Excellent place. I guarantee you will enjoy the ambiance, food and service. Tim the bartender is an excellent host. I personally enjoy a bowl of the Crab bisque. Everytime im up here i stop in for a bowl. The bar is fully stocked from liquor to fine wines.

Food great and service was terrific. Our waitress was very attentive and truly Cared. Hope they are ok after the fires.

Good food. Somewhat limited menu options and a little pricey....but a very enjoyable place to visit.

I enjoyed a great steak, and the mashed potatoes were great. Along with a nice, creamy, spinach artichoke dip. If I were judging solely on good it would be fine starts. But, the staff was a bit slow, however they did apologize for the waits we experienced. Also, we tried ordering two common drinks, and the waitress had never heard of them. Instead of asking the bartender, she said they couldn't make them. Even though they clearly had the ingredients.
