The kindness, compassion, and professionalism here is like no other vet I have experienced in Long Island. They treat us and our pets like family. We have tried several other animal hospitals on Long Island and the price, service, and care here is second to none. I refer all of my friends here and won't take my pets anywhere else. HORRIBLE PLACE !!!!!! totally money hungry from my  experiences  taking my dog there for 10 years .  Should have quit this office a long long time ago shame on me.    They do not care about your pet just about the money they receive in their pocket  P.s I quit this place today

 Both doctors (Kaplan & Bergendorff)  are extremely knowledgeable and caring. I have been a client of  Smithtown Animal Hospital for the past 15 years.  They have taken great care of my two greyhounds.  The staff is fabulous.  I have no difficulty getting an appointment.  Time spent in the  waiting room isn't  very long at all.  I sometimes board my greyhound Melanie there as well. It's the only place I will take her.
