This quaint lodge has an, "At home" feel with staff that treat you like family. There was always a smiling face during our stay. Be sure to stay here while in Maggie Valley. They're centrally located to the ski resort and local stores.

I go on a trip to Maggie Valley every year, and I stay here at the Smoky Falls Lodge every year. This is a great place to stay at if you ever go to Maggie Valley. The people there are very friendly, the rooms are very clean, and it is home to The Moonshine Grill which is a great place to eat at.

Great place to stay with the motorcycle covered parking. Could use some updating, but had a comfortable stay. Walking distance from restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms are clean and staff was friendly.  However, this motel and most in Maggie Valley cater to smokers.  More ash trays than amenities.  If you're a non-smoker, I can't recommend anywhere in Maggie Valley.  Everywhere we went there were people smoking and cigarette butts all over the ground.   I will say the grounds of this hotel were clean and neat.  Waking up to a skil saw running at 7-8 in the morning wasn't very pleasant either.  Seemed to be a work area directly behind our room.  Get up early to set outside your room on the benches, because once the smokers come out, you can't breathe if you're a non-smoker.
