My favorite restaurant by far! I've been fortunate for the past five years to get to eat at Sopapilla's several times a week, so I think I'm the most qualified reviewer on here! LOL. After hundreds of meals, I've never had a bad dish or bad service. Yes, sometimes they're busy; but do you really want to go to an establishment that isn't busy?!? As a regular, I'm greeted by name every single time I walk in the door, and the management has always impressed me as attentive and courteous. Connie, Brian, Sterling, and Beau in the bar are always on top of it with the best drinks (no matter what I'm drinking). Every waiter I've ever had is head-and-shoulders above the waitstaff you'll find in average restaurants in our area. Thursday nights are awesome in the Tequila Bar with Marissa and friends and their Songwriters' Night (which is hands-down better than The Bluebird - without all the tourists), but don't miss Sunday brunch. Chef Carlos always goes over the top for brunch. Don't be afraid to ask for his secret special sweet salsa. Pair this brunch with their bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, and bellinis (in season); and life doesn't get much better. I highly recommend Sopapilla's when you're in Franklin.

I’m speechless. We lived in New Mexico and there’s nothing like the food there — but now there is!! We ate here the first time after moving to the area and were BLOWN AWAY with the authenticity and quality of Sopapilla’s food. Service is always good and they’re usually quite busy so THAT should tell you a lot. Order the apps!!! GREAT TEQUILAS (thanks for the suggestion of El Jimador!) and at the end of your meal they bring you complementary sopapillas — hot and fluffy-puffy and honey on the side...just like New Mexico restaurants. They really got it right. GO!!!

This place is just so consistently good.  Not Mex, not TexMex, just awesome Southwest New Mexico food done with great taste and always fresh ingredients.

Great place to eat. Have always wanted an upper scale Mexican restaurant. They serve great wine & good cocktails. The service is always professional but warm. Food is authentic and very good. Great menu choices even steak for those that might be dining w/a Mexican food lover but down care for it themselves. Been there many times & never had bad food or bad service.
