Soundscape started as Park Radio on North Avenue in 1930. Founded by Lee Dorsey, an amateur radio operator since he was fourteen. At first, radios where hobby-made until about 1925.
In 1969 his sons, John And Ed joined the business and in 1975 opened Soundscape on Cold Spring Lane.
