Our favorite place for breakfast/lunch.  Hand down.  Great environment, friendly staff, very reasonable prices.  Sometimes I think they under charge for what they offer but who's complaining.  And valet parking for $3.
Make a reservation and sit outside.  Always sit outside.  Patio is cooled in the summer and heated in the winter and the canopy of mature trees and foliage creates a nice cover that actually feels like you're indoors.
Sunday brunch is an entirely different menu so you'll have to visit a few times to enjoy all the offerings and options. Huge Win.

Spencer’s is a really good restaurant. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and the ambience was perfect for the occasion. The food was delicious, even the lower cost items on the dinner menu (double breasted chicken). Truffle fries were a good side dish to share. My wife said the filet mignon was the best steak she’s ever had. I felt a little under-dressed—I’d recommend wearing at least a collared shirt. I’m from Portland where everybody dresses super casual so I wasn’t really thinking about that. We had drinks, entrees and dessert (carrot cake is good) and spent about $140 here.

There was good and bad; the ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful! We had lovely cool weather in December and the patio heaters made it just perfect to sit outdoors. The service was nice. The food is where they fell short. The egg salad sandwich was plain and boring. It needed a lot of salt and pepper to make it tolerable. The banana cream pie was also boring and barely worth the calories. The only good part of the banana cream pie were the pieces of banana with brûlée'd sugar on them; but there weren't enough of those. Overall I'd give the food a 3-star rating and the ambiance and service a 5-star.

Absolutely love Spencer's anytime of the day breakfast lunch brunch dinner beautiful atmosphere love to sit on the patio my favorite go to restaurant every time I'm in Palm Springs!
