Great simple lunch meal. Perfectly pickled vegetables. Nicely seasoned rice. Good ratio of ingredients. Kalbi beef did not have the bone, which I preferred. No kimchi as another reviewer already noted, I think that’s referring to the kimchi fried rice. Overall very yummy and flavorful.
Came here for MealPal pretty regularly. This guy gives me like 5 pieces of tofu which is much less than expected. I asked for a little more and he was going to charge me $2.25. When I told him I would write a review, he said go ahead, I get 1 star reviews all the time. So suit yourself, I can see why
I crave this new gen fused Asian cuisine. But I always eat the same dish here. It's so good. A grilled chicken wrap might sound like nothing special, but this is a culmination of all of them! Wrapped in a tacky rice wrap, as in Vietnamese fresh roles, a perfect complement of fatless meat grilled chicken chunks with spicy kimchi, al-dente rice, crunchy bean sprout pieces and greens this dish will make you crave this place for years. I've been hooked for years now. Don't forget to drown it in sriracha before your 2nd bite! The first bite is just for you to know that having it without Sriracha is a pure regret.
Spice Kit is a great place to grab a quick and tasty bite. I love their Korean bows--I think the pork is the best topping. It's a good amount of food and it has a good mix of veggies, rice, and meat. At this location, there were very few people there during dinner time on a weeknight, so there was no wait and they brought my food to my table, very thoughtful! The prices for bowls are around $10, which is pretty reasonable. If you are looking for a quick bite that is tasty and healthy, you can't go wrong with Spice Kit.
Amazing foodie take on Asian street food. Try breakfast! The 63 degree eggs are fantastic.
Great food. Their Korean bowl and Vietnamese bowl are the best
I was looking for new restaurants to try in the financial district and decided to take a walk over to Spice Kit. I went at around 1:30 in the afternoon and there was no line. I ordered the tofu bowl with a side of lotus chips. The tofu was well flavored and the amount of food was quite filling. The fresh vegetables in the bowl made it seem like a well rounded meal. The side of lotus chips were a salty and flavorful side. Next time I will try the chicken or pork. I'll definitely be back to this spot for a quick and affordable lunch.
Yummy! I got the Korean Bowl with spicy chicken and the vegetarian bun. Fresh, good spices, and super fast service. Not much room to sit in the restaurant, so just take it to go or go during off-peak times.
Incredible value, taste, and overall quality. I first ate here about three weeks ago, and I've been back four times. I can't get enough of the banh mi, but I've also tried the Vietnamese and Korean bowls - everything is excellent. So glad to have this in my neighborhood!
Online ordering doesn’t work. Ordered on November 12, 2021 around 12:00pm and order was nearly an hour late. Ir was promised for 12:25 and received at 12:45. I followed the instructions by going up to the cashier and they said it would be right out. As people were passing me that were in line, I realized my order was never taken processed. Cashier told me online ordering doesn’t work. Then why did you make wait it out anyways??
