Different and delicious foods, but at the cost of either your wallet or your stomach not being completely full, or both. Happy hour is the best time to go if you want to try this place out before spending a bit more on big plates. Staff is happy to be there and make the environment warm and welcoming.

Thursday was our first time at Spork and will certainly not be our last. Of all the local restaurants offering their creative flare on the fresh/farm-to-table/rustic/modern/ eclectic/ , personally I would put Spork in the running for my current favorite. Now, I don’t say this lightly because they did not have a specific menu that is a must for me when in season – the beet salad- but, that being said they had enough other unique options to keep me interested. Firstly, the cocktails both traditional and crafty were delicious. They didn’t try to overpower the classics with some oddball flare; thank you for this. The same principle applied to the small pates, which we ate many, the flavor combos in each of the dishes were very well rounded and not leaving me confused with the overall intent. My favorite part of a dish is when the main subject at hand is enhanced by everything around it on the plate, and not overtaken by too many spices and techniques. Spork did a superb job with this. So yes, overall 5-stars; we’ll be back. Hope you too make it a point to get there.

Spork is one of those dining experiences that comes ever so rarely to that casual diner. Every single item, from the appetizer charcuterie board to the cookies and milk ending is worked out with aforethought and care in every single way. Easily the best meal I've had in 2017 and possibly in the top 3 of a lifetime.

I am in love with their scallops and butternut squash ravioli.... Yummy!! They have a very nice wine list and Monday nights are 50% off wine, so a really good idea. I like to try different things but this is so delicious I can never NOT get it! Have paired it with veal Bolognese, which was a little greasy last time I got it. Caused some stomach upset but I've had it so tasty before I'd get it again. That being said, the scallops I'm in love with are $18. It's so high quality I pay it and it's my meal. However, if your appetite there runs the norm, usually 2 small plates​runs the average. Combined with the wine, this is definitely a place to visit if you want to splurge.

One of the yummiest new restaurants I have been to in Pittsburgh. We went on a double date night and order as much as we could off of the menu. Every plate was delicious. There wasn't one dish that I wouldn't get again. Our waiter was pleasant and the owner came out to talk to us about what we thought of the dishes. Very friendly place. Cool atmosphere and will certainly go back.
