Nice place to stay. Beautiful scenery in back.  Room clean and comfortable. Beach about a mile and half away, and Provincetown was an hour down 6. Great restaurants in the area. Very good price if you don't mind traveling to the different towns to visit.

From the front of the establishment and the check in area it has a lot to be desired.  But don't judge from the first impression!  Spring Garden Inn owners are very helpful when asked, yet they give you your privacy. The room is very clean, comfortable, and charming.  The yard and view, which you don't initially see,  is calming and true Cape Cod. 
  If your not used to being close to a marsh, you are in for a surprise!  Low tide may fill your sense of smell with an idea of a small, over filled septic system, however, this is a marsh!  You will have your hearing magically filled with wonderful bird singing, wind blowing through the reeds, and cooling Cape breeze. The view is photo worthy!   When you venture onto the marsh wear old, stable footwear. Here you will slip, possibly slide, and see lovely marsh creatures.  Grab a string, a pole, and tie a chicken wing piece on and catch some fresh crabs! (Not for eating).
  Free coffee, juice, fruit, and pastries in the morning to start your day. The "ice machine" can be found in the office, took me a day to find it and your NOT going to be filling a small cooler. 
 What I did not enjoy, the refrigerator isn't very cold, even the freezer didn't freeze my bottle of water.  If you want a COLD beer or ice bottle water for the beach, well get ice at the store for your cooler.  No microwave in the room to reheat your leftovers from last night's dinner. 
   With the things I didn't like, couldn't find, I still must say this is a GREAT PLACE at a wonderful price.  Maybe next time I go I will bring my husband! Definitely not the children, only because This was my Mommy getaway!

Beautiful scenery, very clean and well kept rooms, kayaks available for use in the marshes behind the property, very friendly staff, grills and tables outside, and beautiful landscaping! Also it's much more affordable than I expected! Definitely would like to stay here again!

Even with a humidifier running smelled musty and in some corners of the room smelled like cat urine. Too bad because the room was really cute and was clean. They are located on a bog in thier back yard so keeping the smells down must be a real challenge for the owners. The man running the office had no personality..not offensive mind you...just no smile, no small talk...just...here's your key..bye ! Lol

The room was clean; the owner is nice, diligent, and proactive; the breakfast was lovely. The value of money is worth it. I would return there.
