I freaking love the cheese shop. It’s my go to place for a sandwich, chips (try the sour cream and onion), and soda. They are always really friendly and have quick service so you can stop in and take a sandwich to go or enjoy it there. They also have daily specials like a lamb bacon & curry sandwich which was to die for. Their melts are perfectly simple and come with a little cup of tasty tomato sauce. My only minor complaint is that all the cold sandwiches are made on ciabatta. It’s really good quality bread, but can get kind of boring. But it’s definitely not enough to detract from the rest!!

We picked up a trio of cheeses for a Holiday gathering. Very helpful staff. Will go back again.

This place is over priced and adequate at best. I ordered their roast beef sand which and it had hardly any meat and not much cheese. It was also super expensive for being extremely minimal. I was still hungry after. If you want a good Delli sandwhich that isn't from a corporate chain I recommend Nelson's on como ave

While I love cheese, I'm no expert...which is why all the employees here are so awesome! If you describe to them what you like, they'll give you little samples of various cheeses they recommend and even tell you how to serve/pair them! The sandwiches are also super yummy. One of my favorite shops in St. Paul!
