I visited with my wife and two young children on a weekday and was able to take advantage of an very generous rate. The staff were delightful and it was apparent that they took pride in the property they cared for. We were very pleased with the large rooms and absolutely stunning view of the beach. They were able to provide a selection of movies and even a bed time book for our children at bedtime. Though we didn't take advantage of it during this stay, they do offer a selection of beach toys for children to borrow while staying, as well as an outdoor cleaning station for after beach activities. My wife and I have stayed at the coast many times but this was our first attempt to do so with two young children. We we're very pleased with the experience thanks to these impressive accommodations and friendly staff.

Fantastic location, great for family reunions and stunning views. It’s not a hotel so there isn’t a daily maid service, if you need fresh towels you have to ask for them. The manager/care taker of Starfish Point is super kind and easy to talk to.

Starfish Point was the first place I stayed at on the coast after moving to Portland.  I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the coast and everything it has to offer.  The room we stayed in was amazing, clean, comfortable, the kitchen was a godsend and put to good use, it was close enough to Newport that we went to check it out but far enough away that it still felt secluded, and the owner was amazing.  He suggested an amazing seafood restaurant at the waterfront and "helped" us start a fire with what I can only describe as a flamethrower (used with gleeful abandon).

It was a wonderful experience for my family and I and the rooms and furniture was in amazing condition. The view next to the ocean was more than words can describe. I would recommend anyone to visit here for a great Oregon coast experience.

Management is great, Aaron is amazing.  We have stayed here on 3 occasions and have really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful place, nice beach access and our two dogs had so much fun.  Beautiful views from any of the rooms. We love coming here!
