Great location, very close to the beach. Great views from at least half the rooms. Rooms are cozy and very nice looking. The current club house is under renovation, but it's usually a good place to be, there is a pool and a hot tub. Everyday they have specialties like pancake day or hot cocoa, for free. Most all of the rooms have bathrooms that are exclusive or attached to the room and the hallway. Good place, and a great deal to be a owner

Group: 1 couple in their mid 50s, 2 males in their late 20s, and 2 kids: 7 and 9. Service is always great. They are continually doing a lot of maintenance due to the erosion since it is close to the beach, but it didn't bother us. Rooms are a bit older in style (like nearly everything in Newport) but they are spacious. They put on activities for the kids, (cookies and apple cider when I was there), and are a short distance away from Newport. Always felt the location was safe/secure

Very nice resort!!! The unit we stayed in had an amazing view. Very quiet, gas fireplace, good kitchen. Has an indoor pool that is dated and no gym, but they provide free passes to the community center in Newport that has a very nice gym! A short walk to the beach, and about 2 blocks from the cinema. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

I had a nice quiet weekend. It was much appreciated. I was vary happy to find a vary clean place. That alone made me comfortable. I enjoyed a swim in the pool and the use of the sauna. The staff was friendly to. ☺️

What I liked: short walk to a lovely, Scenic Oregon Coast beach. Comfortable reasonably spacious rooms. A variety of activities for kids.

What I didn't: very limited parking, outdated facilities, and challenging accessibility to many rooms. Schooner Landing is a wonderful location, but it needs a lot of updating.
