I'd like to thank Trooper Dunn for reminding me that even though I've driven US Hiway 24 west of Divide for 49 years and know the road well - the posted speed limit is there to protect us all for what we can't see until we make that next turn. I appreciate the Trooper's courteous tone and attitude during our conversation. I slowed down and enjoyed a great afternoon of skiing at Cooper and a safe trip home as well. I went for advice on a car situation, very eager to help, very detailed information and everyone wanted to help, I will definitely go again if info is needed. No problem at all! Actually we were laughing and talking! Thank them for all they did and all they do!

I just want to give a shout out to all the patrol officers that are responsible for keeping the I-25 Corridor between Colorado Springs and Denver safe. Thank you for always being vigilant and going after these aggressive drivers. Stay safe.

I am not even sure of his name but his actions confirm CSP's strong arm tactics rather they are physical or verbal. He is a African American man tall bald and rude with white sunglasses. Be careful and always have your camera ready with this guy, he actually thinks that because he has a badge that makes him 'somebody' guess what "YOU ARE NOT ANYTHING" when you treat citizens the way you do. Let's all support these guys, said no one ever!

Be prepared for a major abuse of power if you have to deal with Officer James Schmidt! Do not let him treat you like a criminal if you are just getting a VIN certification.I suggest recording on your cell phone any interaction you have with him. He should not be in law enforcement,his demeanor would be put to better use working in a junkyard.
