In a word, amazing. I've been here more than once, and the food has been absolutely top notch, with choices I wouldn't have expected "this far from the city." Heck, some choices I would have been lucky to get IN the city. And the staff has been equally great every time. I couldn't recommend State Road Tavern more highly.

Edit: and somehow, I forgot to mention the view! Go upstairs to the tavern where you can see the mountains for the full experience.

Excellent!! We had the Crab Fritters, French Onion cup of soup, Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, & the Brisket plate. Everything was served in a timely manner, food arrived hot. Especially loved that nothing was over salted. Staff was polite, attentive, & friendly. Beautiful setting. Prices very reasonable. $30 each for 2 ppl. 1 scotch & 1 dessert included in the pricing.

State Road Tavern offers a great variety of delicious American food. The crab & corn fritter appetizer is well worth it and the tater tots are the best side option. During the summer months enjoy the expansive deck and views of the Wasatch mountains.

Great service from Nattie, and the food was absolutely delicious. The restaurant does reservations, and doing so will prove advantageous.
