I'm a Manhattan resident recommended to Steve's Auto Service more than 15 years ago by another local mechanic.  Steve's has been the only auto service working on a 2000 model year Jeep which today is still running very well at more than 130,000 miles.  It never has had a roadside breakdown in all of those years and all of those miles under Steve's care. 

I also operate a local small business in Manhattan and understand the significance and importance of client reviews on Google. I easily can give Steve's 5-stars for auto service, both mechanical and body shop. Their pricing is reasonable and fair, their service is prompt and they complete what they say they will do. I was a refugee from seriously over-priced auto service from an auto dealer when I found Steve's. It has been one of my luckiest experiences ever in Manhattan.

I have been using this repair shop for over ten years and have never met a more honorable group than these mechanics.
They always tell you exactly what you need, call you with the information and let you decide what you want them to complete and give you an estimate that is almost always to the dollar.
That stand behind their work.
I wouldn't trust my car to anyone else

I called for an appt to have an inspection completed few days before  I wanted to go in. They said no appt needed just come in. I wanted an appt for had a limited schedule to get it done . I called back the day I wanted to go in (only time I could make it). They said the person who did it was not in. When I said they told me no appt needed & this was the only time I could do it the guy just hung up on me. They simply could care less about me. Hope this review helps someone else.

Fraud, rip-off artists and un-skilled mechanics.  This is one of those places that preys on people who haven't been able to research them beforehand.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! They will cheat you, overcharge you, and then not even do the work correctly! You'll have to get the work done at another place, all over again! I googled this company to see if anyone had a similar experience, and it's quite a coincidence that there are only 2 reviews which are quite brief and obviously fake...BUYER BEWARE
