I asked Steve about my goped which had a weird vibration. He was nice and told me that the rear wheel was uneven and told me how to fix it. Then he saw that I had no air filter, so he gave me a free air filter. The service there is great, and they do their best to get it done as fast as possible.

Where to begin. The story I have to tell is one of both bad and good, unusual but mostly positive. I work for Steve myself, I have since I could work, literally. They brought my first moped back from the dead when I was only 14. Steve is like a second father to me, in all honesty. And like everybody on this planet, he's not perfect, but he tries and strives to be the best he can be. We do what we can, but you have to understand that we're one of the only certified razor repair centers on the east coast, we're constantly working on lawn mowers and pressure washers and other small engine units, and on top of that we have bicycles and mopeds in need of repair. Everything we do takes time. And unfortunately people have no time to waste waiting. Everything we do is first come, first serve. We strive to make that a high priority. Sometimes people are simply unaware of all the work we have on our hands. As for professionalism, I can't speak for my colleagues. People get mad sometimes, that's just a way of life. What I can speak for is how I work. I do everything in my power to put the customer first. Instead of answering the phone simply with "steves moped" I take the time out to say the shop name in full, and my name on top of it. Being available for everyone is a hard thing to pull off, but usually i come through successfully at the end of each day. As for my colleagues, all of them are worthwhile people with hearts of pure gold. We've had a change of employees recently. Guy, our new lawn equipment technician, is one of my role models and is the best mechanic I've ever met. Dan, moped tech, can get anything to run, literally. Eric, razor and scooter department, is a pure class act. Drew, bicycle department, he's a mentor and very very good at what he does. Andy, Saturday's only, is always professional and willing to help. And me, finally, Charlie, sales and service. I'm the one that usually answers your calls. I'm the one that bills you out and helps you load your unit up to bring it home, or I'll be helping you unload it to begin the waiting period for service. And I'm the one that finds all of the parts for the technicians. Usually I'm the one that has to bring in all the stuff at the end of the day too, ha. But that's my team and that's my story. I can't speak for the past, but I can speak for the upcoming future. And with our new crew, I'm certain that Steve's Moped and Bicycle World has been resurrected. Give us a call. I promise I'll be on the other line for whatever you need. Don't think of the past, think of where we're at now. And this is us.

If there was a way to give them no stars and just write the review I would. This place tried to scam me thinking I would not be smart enough to catch on. I cam in the other day with a brand new bike "literally" Brand new and all I needed was my flat fixed 1 they charge 3 times more then I have ever paid and 2 they tried to tell me my bike needed brakes and a tuneup, "I JUST BOGHT IT." Then they took forever to fix it and left me standing there as if I didn't even exist while they stood around talking to each other. DONT GO TO THIS BIKE STORE. Had I read the reviews "which are horrible'' before going I never would have in the first place. There are so many other Bike stores in and around Dumont, DONT GTE SCAMED BY THIS ONE!

I went there to get my gears fix on bike they were so nice they fixed it only in half an hour they even put air in my tires and made a few adjustments as well my bike rides great now they are honest people.
