We went during the Christmas season to enjoy the snow Mountain attractions. The park is set up for the Christmas holiday with great vendors, snowman building and snow tubing for both the little and adult children to play and have fun. There were thousands of beautiful lights for the children to enjoy once it was dark. There is so much to do from going up to the top for a great view of the area to sitting down to eat. All in all we will return there as much as possible before it closes down. We've been told that the park is closing down most of its historical areas but that some of the park will still be there for walking, hiking and enjoying the great outdoors. I think it's a shame to close the museum and other exhibits but that's just how it is. So I would recommend that you all go now if you want to do and see everything. The snow attractions are only there Nov -February but the park is always there.

Beautiful park with great views at the top of the mountain, with Atlanta off in the distance. Definitely would suggest you be in good health for the hike, as it is very steep the entire way up. It would be nice if dogs were allowed on the mountain, though somewhat understandable why they are not. Bring a camera! The monument looks smaller than you'd think, though it is very large and still quite impressive. It is also interesting to learn the history of the monument, a video is available in the main help center/gift shop. I visited in mid-late February.

This place is great! Beautiful scenery, history and activities that take just about one full day to go through. We stayed at the campgrounds in a Safari Tent. Amazing view, friendly patrons and staff with very clean facilities. General Store on site for anything you have have forgotten as well (though priced knowing you forgot them!)

Stayed in the yurt cabins I had a little bit of problem with cleanliness when I first got there a hair on the bed and some dust bunnies and dirt in between the hardwood floor which is old style with big gaps so the dirt goes down they really need to be vacuuming the dirt from the hardwood instead of sweeping at any rate they took good care of me despite those problems and apparently they've gotten the highest cleanly standards and campgrounds award or something which most likely was the camping areas but hey things need to be cleaned and they offered to do it we didn't allow them to because we came right at 15 minutes before night checking closed we are also advised that had we come earlier we would have been able to have our amenities taken care of better I think they would have been better if they cleaned it after the last people left but they did take care of us after the fact despite all of that it was a magical experience and I will be coming back I also suggest you check out a yurt if you are considering alternate dwellings. Yes I would still actually come back there again at full price and I'll be happy to pay full price especially if everything was taken care of and right from the start

There is so much to do at this park from family fun to business conferences and everything in between. I've climbed the mountain, I've walked and ridden my bicycle the 5 miles around the base of the big rock and I've finally blazed the hiking trails along the rivers. All of those activities are great exercises and lots of free fun. I think my next adventure will be to camp out in the Yurts. Even if you don't have a parking pass there is an entrance you can walk into the park for free and leave your car parked downtown Stone Mountain.
