Wow. I just had a horrible experience with the man named Jose. He literally assaulted me and charged me extra for a sandwich because HE misunderstood me. I am still shaking. I have never been treated worse in my whole life. The guy was a thousand pounds bigger than me. You can be having a horrible day but don't bring that stuff to work. He probably thinks I won't even write a review but that's what reviews are for.
Clean, well stocked, and polite crew means a decent place to eat. A 101 flavors soda machine was s great plus. Plenty of options for sandwiches and a great variety of meats. Only one mistake on my part--speaking clearly stops errors. Too much peppercini. My bad. Overall, my second favorite eating place.
Really great. There was a young girl working by herself about a week from this posted date . She took an order from a guy who had a list he was reading out 3 orders, the girl was working fast an efficiently . The second lady had two orders... She got through them fairly quickly and was attentive not rushing off the customers before getting to me. The food was basic Subway food haha but the customer service that day was great.
I'd like to give them 5 Stars but they don't have a restroom. The place was pretty clean, there were a few tables that had crumbs and a package of snack crackers sat on one table. The food looked fresh like most Subways look. Service was good and staff seemed friendly. I ordered through the mobile app and they prepared my order right away with accuracy. The place wasn't too cold or too hot. They have wifi for customers and I found one outlet that I could use to charge my mobile device. Also notice a little bug flying around. It was only one insect and I didn't notice more.
Place was mostly clean. The staff seemed nice. Food was overpriced. Paid $12 for a foot-long Italian BMT, a drink, and a bag of chips. Chips were the size you'd give a child in their lunchbox, and the drink was equivalent to a small size anywhere else. Even the foot-long sub was smaller than it should be. The sub was good, but I probably wouldn't eat at this particular Subway again.
It's OK. Went on a Wednesday at lunch time, only two employees working likely due to Covid-19 restrictions. Took nearly 25 minutes with only one person in front of me. One new employee, I'll give her props, it was her first day and she was stuck making my sub all on her own, as her trainer was distracted with selling $200 worth of $5 gift cards on a side note, anyone know which doctor in La Mesa gives those away . Quality was ok, bread was doughy, hense dropping to 3 stars.
I have had a Caprese Panini and a chicken panini both were excellent. I always have good service and good food here. I've never had a bad sandwich at this location. However they are a little understaffed. Especially during peak times. Would love to see the restrooms kept cleaner so bring your hand sanitizer so you don't have to go in there
This has been my local Subway for almost three years now. The service has always been friendly and efficient. The ingredients are always fresh, and the restaurant has always been clean and kept tidy. Most recently, I had ordered for the first time, a platter of subs for work. I placed the order and paid for it online. To ensure the order would be ready that same night, I called the store and verified my order, time for pickup, and payment with an employee named Dominique. I burned some time shopping next door when I arrived about half an hour earlier than set pickup time. I arrived at the store 10 minutes to pickup time and planned for my daughters and I to grab a quick bite while there, then we’d take the platter to its destination. I met Dominique and identified myself as having called earlier to confirm the platter order. She acknowledged it and told me, “Yes, I received your order and it’s in the back... I printed it out...” I informed her my daughters and I would be placing our order and eating in and I would request they grab the platter for me on our way out, to which she said was OK. About 15-20 minutes later, and apparently a change in shift–I asked an employee named Amanda, if I could get the platter I ordered. Mind you. Amanda was present and heard Dominique acknowledge my order earlier. To everyone’s surprise, when Amanda went to the back to retrieve the platter, she found nothing. Apparently, Dominique only PRINTED the order out on paper? It wasn’t made, or even communicated to the next shift before she left work for the day. I was shocked. I had a team of hungry workers waiting at a job site to feed and I had only enough time, to make it there BARELY on time. I was at a loss for words, and so was Amanda, but like a true professional—she quickly assured me she would be able to fulfill my order and have me on my way in 10 minutes at the most. Well, it took her just a mere 8 minutes, and because of Amanda—I still have my job, and my kneecaps those guys can get fierce when made to wait to eat, LOL! Thanks Amanda, for making haste and being quick to correct such a last minute dilemma! You are a true professional and an asset to any workforce!
