First time there...let's just say it was AMAZING.. EVERYTHING from the moment we walked in to paying for our food it was top notch AWESOME...Husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs...the best he's had...great flavor texture you name it ...I ordered the philly cheese steak and added chipotle sauce it was the best I have had..Oldest son ordered the ravioli and he was very happy with it...Lets talk about my 4yr old ..Owner and him bonded with small talk and mozzarella cheese sticks ..and refills with sprite and ice .. Totally family friendly and loved the atmosphere...no rushing no negative vibes ...It was the best experience we've had on a whim on googling Dining in pizza places....we even drove from Lakeside and it was VERY MUCH WORTH IT!!!! Definitely hit the spot!!!! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!
A couple of friends brought me here when I was visiting. They talked it up and for pretty good reason. Their pizza was good but the Calzone they made me was one of the best I have ever had. Also their mozzarella sticks were awesome as well. Having a crispy outside and gooey inside that they are known for. Will Def be back next time I visit.
The Pizza was very good we loved the thin and fresh pizza crust. The antipasto salad was delicious and they didn't put too much dressing on it mozzarella sticks were awesome and big and very feeling tasted good.
I have eaten here twice while working in the area. I was super impressed with the Cheesesteak and I'm from Philly. They have a nice bar area and seating.I look forward to trying the pizza by the slice sometime. Frank's is a great little find in a sea of fast food in this area,well worth seeking out...
First and last time here. We only came here because my girlfriend said it was "Christian owned" and she liked the food. We are 2 women in our 50's and my friend's niece was with us as well. He was yelling at us and told us to not ever come back again. So we basically got thrown out of his restaurant because we asked for separate checks. UNBELIEVABLE. We are still in shock. Never even complained once to him about the rude female server who ignored usmost likely his wifeand never checked on us nor did she ever bring us our checks. I also never complained about the soggy, undercooked pizza that I ended up giving away to a homeless man. What a great example of a CHRISTIAN. And other customers overheard everything. How UNPROFESSIONAL. Way to go Frank!
One of the only authentic thin-crust NY style pizzerias in San Diego that actually tastes like the real deal. Franks never disappoints and always makes me a little bit homesick.Food: 5/5
Went for the 1st time a few days ago. This is definitely my new spot in the area. It's got a neighborhood pizza-joint vibe that I haven't seen anywhere in about 25 years. Reminds me of when Pizza Hut was a sit-down restaurant, except the food here is WAY better and this place serves beer! Good food, good vibe, friendly staff, clean, reasonably priced. It's a very small restaurant, but I consider that a plus.

We got the chicken alfredo pizza and probably one of the best if not the best pizza I ever got in El Cajon… we went there little late, but owner I guess the lady was very kind enough to let us dine in. The employees were very friendly as well. Im very glad that we have such an awesome place very close to us. Will definitely come back.
Had a scheduled massage in the same shopping center at 2:00. I knew I’d be super hungry after because I’d had no time for lunch. So, I ordered before my massage and requested it be ready at 3:15. Turns out I arrived for pickup at 3:08. They were just about to get it out of the oven. Drove 20 mins to home and enjoyed the superior pizza and a salad. 5 stars.
