How is anyone who has to be at work by 8:00 supposed to get breakfast if they don't open until 9:00am?!?!?!?!?!

Yesterday I go into subway and the lady before me (caucasion female) was served with a smile and genuine courteousy and respect for that person.
However I politely smiled as the gentlman behind the counter, (no smile) asked me "what can I get for you"?,...
I did notice his moderate tone of deflation. I said politely, I will need two six inches... Before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me "What type of bread"? I tripped over my words and asked, "huh"? 
"Bread"! He said with much irritation, as if my slight hesitation annoyed him. I said white, to rush an answer, because he showed annoyance toward me. (Tho I really wanted the cheese bread but, I am a bit taken back that he has this attitude with me) Of course he fixed my order pretty much with the same mannerism as the beginning of our encounter. To top it off as he started to entangle the second sandwich, in the paper wrap, I remembered my daughter wanted banana peppers and jalapeños on her italian spicy sandwich. (Like I said, his whole attitude floored me, when he added the veggies I requested, he exhaled like,,,really???) He passed my sandwiches down to the cashier and as she took my payment he decided to aide her by putting both sandwiches in the same bag. (Not a problem but, The fact that he kind of just pitched my sandwiches toward me almost made me want to leave them right there on that counter and walk out) I was pressed for time and I had already told my son and daughter that I would bring their subs to their highschool. I altered to pay for my purchase and ask the cashier for a seperate bag and bought two bags of chips.( dorritos and lays barbq) 
Meanwhile, a gentleman came behind me and placed his order and the same sandwich maker said, "How are you today sir, what can I get for you"? (Caucasian male)😮😑
I have lived in Nicholasville for two years. Yes, situations like this have happened before. But considering we, a family of six, love subway and regular spent money there on more than several occasions. I can honestly say, we (a proud black family) will never patron that particular subway again. Yes, racism is the corner stone of his attitude. Sadly conveinant they were. (As far as location) My kids even walked over there, sometimes  just to buy cookies and sandwiches sometimes. 
Sadly I will pray for that man, as I pray for myself. It can be hard dealing with peoples attitudes because of the color of ones skin. I shall continue pulling my cloak to my neck and hold my head high with pride. I am a child of God's,,,chosen definitively by His majesty, Himself.
