5 stars for Amanda, 1 star for food. Amanda was an amazing waitress! We came in with a party of 7 that turned into 9 and she was great. She made sure we were being paid attention to and that everything went well. The food wasn't good in my opinion, the waffles were more like pancakes, the sausage tasted like it was a store bought frozen patty, the omelettes were tiny. No flavor in anything. The syrup bottle had so much syrup caked into the opening it wouldn't even close.

We were in town for a family reunion and decided to stop for breakfast. A quick Google search left us to this restaurant and it's many good reviews. Walking in you're immediately hit with memories of your great grandma's house. The decor is old and kitchy, but I can live with any decor as long as the food is good. The food sadly was not. My group had an array of breakfast foods from pancakes and eggs to pigs in a blanket and one of us even got chicken fried steak. There was a resounding disappointment from all. The eggs tasted old, the hash browns were raw, the chicken fried steak inedible. The only decent item were the grits. I do have to say our waitress was very nice, but she was the only positive in an otherwise disappointing experience. I must note that there seemed to be a lot of regulars eating and happily chatting away. We had high hopes for this restaurant, but now I must strongly discourage others from being drawn into this place by locals with what I can only assume is a strong sense of loyalty to this hometown eatery.

The liver and onions are amazing. The rolls are so enormous. You could definitely serve two with any plate from the dinner menu. The staff is amazing and the food is fresh. Loved the atmosphere. Very nice clean cool environment. Thanks so much.

Sue's Country Kitchen, in Bossier City, Louisiana was wonderful. Easy access on and off the interstate, fast, friendly, polite service, reasonable portions and prices, and the food was delicious! We will definitely add this to our list of places to eat when we travel, and we'll come back again!

Great food, Fast and Friendly service with a smile. When I want a chicken fried steak dinner this is where I will come 10/10 times. Their lunch and dinner specials are affordable for any budget and the dinner rolls are absolutely amazing. These awesome ladies will take good care of you like you're family.
