Went here for lunch. Ordered the lamb and beef pita gyro sandwich combo. Very tasty and had a good amount of fries. The small salad came with pita bread and was good. The service was fast and efficient. They were not busy on a Sunday afternoon. The baklava was awesome and so was the chocolate chip cookie
Great place that opened up in the last couple of months. Anyone who enjoys gyros really needs to try theirs. It's authentic and delicious. The staff is generous and explains the history of the food. What a delight! The restaurants are clean and well maintained. Kid friend and wheelchair accessible. Kid-friendliness: Son loves going there. The staff are nice and treat us well. Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible throughout the restaurant
Really enjoyed this venture into some authentic Turkish cuisine. The establishment is family run and they treated everyone as a special guest. The lamb shanks were so tender and flavorful. My salad was fresh and delicious. They had many other great thing to choose from, I just wanted to break away from the usual gyro. The owner plans to continually improve his restaurants interior as they grow. The place shows lots of promise and the prices are fair.
The food was great and tasty. We had a wonderful lunch and the owner was friendly. We also order take out. Reasonable price as well. They served coffee too. The baklavas was good. The store was clean.
Definitely give this place a try! First of all get the desserts. The rice pudding and baklava are excellent. I preferred the chicken gyro sandwich to the regular gyro. The star of the show was the moussaka served over rice and with a side of tzatziki. The babaganoush with pita and the falafel were excellent and the stuffed grape leaves were good too! The staff was friendly and very helpful with all my questions and provided serving suggestions. I would suggest adding a few orders of pita to your order if getting the babaganoush.
I stopped for a quick meal, and chose gyro salads, it was a very nice salad, with a lot of meat, chunks of feta cheese and lettuce. It came with a great pita. I really enjoyed the food in this place. My friend took a wrap and enjoyed it as well.
We made a quick stop here for some baklava. Noticed they also made smoothies so we ordered a strawberry smoothie and a mango smoothie along with the baklava. The smoothies were incredibly good. Tasted like drinking a mango and a strawberry. The baklava was excellent as well. We didn't try any of their other food but saw some of their dishes at other tables and they didn't look like they would disappoint.
Very delicious food. We love it. Excellent service definitely recommend it will be back again guys. Great job.
Great spot to get a cup of Turkish tea or coffee with baklava. I also tried doner kebab which was delicious. The bread for doner was right out of the oven. Highly recommended this place to enjoy inexpensive and tasty Turkish food.Recommended dishesBaklava
The best breakfast sandwich in the burgh! And that’s whether you get it on toast or as a doner. The eggs are thin and perfectly cooked; the cheese is quality, and the meats I had the sandwich twice, once on toast with doner meat and once on doner bread with Turkish sausage that was wonderfully spicy are the best you’ll get on a breakfast sandwich. The owner makes Turkish coffee right, and it’ll get you through the whole day. Breakfast was so good, I took my whole team there for lunch. I had the doner plate with tea for lunch. Everything was great and the value was spot on. Finally, this is the best baklava I’ve had in Pittsburgh. It’s made with love and quality ingredients you can taste. This is a real family shop, which makes it a place we should support. Go there for breakfast or lunch or dinner; you will be happy you did!
