The woman who waited on me was extremely rude. I asked if they had a restroom and was ignored as she walked away. I requested my receipt, even touched the print receipt on the tablet you sign on, again ignored. I asked about a large soda and she asked if I wanted the 2 liter. I said I don’t know how large that is and she said 2 liters. Again, I specifically asked how large the bottle was. Real simple question, and I did not need a response like that. The pizza was very bland. No taste to it and it was the greasiest mess I’ve ever seen. The ricotta cheese on it was good, but the prices are incredibly steep, especially for a single topping. This was one of the worst pizza places and eating establishments I’ve ever ate at. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, go elsewhere and get better food as well as decent service.
This was hands-down the best pizza we've ever had. Seriously. We stopped by Pittsburgh driving from NYC, where we live, to Chicago, where we've had great deep dish pizza. The toppings for the Greek were as good as the best slices we've had, and Ephesus's crust was on another level. We also got a tiramisu to go, and it was great. We'd come back to Pittsburgh just for Ephesus, it was that good.
Well when I normally order from here it’s delicious. I’m not sure who the cook was tonight but the pizza was ridiculously burnt, the whole pizza taste quite different actually. The wings could have been better and the host/servant answering the phone needs to take a customer service course to better serve the customers. Her communication was disappointing and could have been better. I’m quite upset and have decided not to order from here again based off the customer service. Idk what happened but yikes!!!
Wow! So impressed with what I ordered. Fettuccine Alfredo with a 'small' side salad and garlic bread included. And the red pizza was exactly what I was looking for, Margherita with roasted garlic basically. Everything in the picture has already been halfway devoured at least... other than the salad!
Most criminally underrated pizza in Pittsburgh. Their gourmet pizzas are second to none in this town. My camera is horrible yet the pizza still looks wonderful.Food: 5/5
We recently had a surprise birthday party for my wife and Ephesus did a phenomenal job catering several pizzas to our event on a Saturday before their opening hours. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and the delivery was made right on time. Everyone loved the pizza and it was a big hit! Every slice/variety I personally tried was delicious. Couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and I highly recommend them!
Amazing food, great hospitality. We tried pide and lahmacun, and they were all great!
YUCK! my brother ordered this for our visit tonight and said, we'll be amazed how good this food is... lol.. We were amazed alright. Amazed that someone would let an order from a customer who gets food from you weekly look like that . I mean it was disgusting looking so I had feeling it may taste the same too. I hope my brother's family takes my advice and try salvatores. It's a further drive but there will be eatable food for same price . Hopefully they post pictures. Sorry I didn't think to take a picture and review until later. I hope this saves some visitors from having a horrible dining/ takeout experience with friends, family, etc
Really excellent food. We had Turkish pizzapide with meatpie as good or better than any we had in Turkey. Also coban salad and homemade pita bread with flavorful yogurt. I highly recommend. The owner and his staff were very friendly.
Absolutely the best. This is Turkish pide with turkish pepperoni in it. Taste was delicious and worth every penny !!!! even sauce on the side was amazing yogurt with garlic, dill and cucumber slices.
