I had been this restaurant twice with my puppy to have breakfast. It is so far the best restaurant for us. Their food is super delicious and the salad is very fresh. They not only allow me to bring my puppy in, but give me the container for my dog. The coffee and hot chocolate are all very good. My kids, my dog and me all love this place. And, the waitress and waiter are super friendly and nice. We will definitely visit this place again.
Savory Crepes, Paninis, Omelets and Sweet crepes and freshly squeeze orange, coffees. Finally a perfect breakfast place that has everything i can want. And it is located in Downtown. Definitely we will comeback.
Absolutely delicious!! I got the Turkish breakfast for two to-go with the sausage add on get this for sure, everything was perfect...quality ingredients, good portions. It's a filling breakfast would also be good for lunch but doesn't weight you down in a food coma for the rest of the day. I want to try eat in as it looks like they have a beautiful / photogenic plating presentation ! The coffee is also really good. I'm kind of meh on turkish coffee but I really enjoyed Alihan's version.
We went with our 4 young children and felt very welcome. Service was great. Food was amazing. We had the Turkish Breakfast for 2, waffle and pastries for the kids. Turkish coffee was outstanding. We have already made plans to return. So so good! Kid-friendliness: Clean, open atmosphere. Staff was welcoming of kids.
A great place downtown for a breakfast that isn’t a brunch. They have a delicious breakfast panini with a wonderful crunch and nicely spiced sausage. Prices are great and they have free refills on the house coffee.Recommended dishesBreakfast Panini
Hopped in here for a quick breakfast before hitting the bike trail. I was blown away with the food, and the presentation. Best breakfast out I’ve had in a long time. Can’t say enough good things. Very reasonably priced too
We had breakfast for 2 meal with a pot of tea. The meal was good and healthy. I love the tea there it’s really good and they know how to make tea. Service is excellent. Owner Alihan and Mariana are so nice and friendly.
Above all, the most important thing to me is customer interaction. A pleasant staff environment will continue to have an everlasting impact on me. Everyone was so polite, and the energy in the restaurant was positively pleasant. It often slips my mind to write reviews of my favorite places but my experience here was lovely. When you arrive you will notice how well kept everything is. Cleanliness will always keep customers happy. The food menu is well organized and from my experience flavorsome. My advice to Alihan's Coffee and Breakfast, Please keep this up and Pittsburgh will reward you handsomely!
We enjoyed dinner at Alihan's so much the night before that we had to try them for breakfast and it did not disappoint. Waitstaff was friendly and quick with the coffee and the food was so so good, totally worth the wait. We shared the potato and sausage omelet, the zucchini and carrot pancakes and the smoked salmon crepes and all of it was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend and can't wait for our next trip to Pittsburgh so we can go back.
An absolute lovely experience! I had the oatmeal that was cooked perfectly and was so delicious Hasan took very good care of me.
