The service was excellent! Was greeted and served by attentive staff. I ordered the tabbouleh and really enjoyed it. Then I ordered the lamb kabobs that i thought was good. They said it was one ifbthe more popular dishes. I think that is why I settled in 4 stars in that it was just that. The restrooms were clean and accessible. I want to visit again to see if maybe I should be rounding up to 5 stars!
I don’t usually leave 5 star review unless they truly deserve 5 stars and this place does. They offer fantastic food. I ordered Adana kebab ground lamb with spices and red pepper and chicken kebab pieces of chicken breast marinated and grilled and they both were amazing! I followed with tea, Turkish coffee, and baklava. Baklava was freshly made and tea was done and brewed right customer service is excellent, front lady very smiley, welcoming, and honest. I wish everyone appreciates what they offer.
Delicious food. We had the mix cold appetizer plate, lentil soup and falafel. Great vegan options. BYOB if you want. I had the cucumber lemon water which was yummy. We shared the baklava and Turkish coffee which was very tasty in a beautiful coffee cup. Our server was fantastic very attentive. The atmosphere is small but intimate. We went before a show and timing along with location was perfect. We would go back.
The best Mediterranean Cuisine in downtown. We’ve been dining here for 2 consecutive day because their dishes are tasty and their Filipina staffs are friendly and attentive. The lady owner is nice. Reasonable prices.
My mom and I stopped here for dinner before a concert and had a great experience! We started with the Turkish tea which was delicious and served in the most beautiful cups ever! We then got some babaganoush and hummus which were both delicious and had a nice serving size. I had the lamb Adana kebab for dinner and was so impressed with the portion and quality of the food - there will definitely be leftovers! Overall, had a great experience and can’t wait to come back.
I used to come to this restaurant. I think the quality of food is degrading here, but the prices keep getting high. We wasted couple days ago $107 and tip here. When we come to a restaurant, we expect the food to be cooked and fresh. The house salad for the 3 of us was got from Walmart bags and they put it in the plates! The Kunefe, for 3 also, had little sweet taste. It used to be incredible in the dish, not this wooden thing. I don't think it was fresh even. I won't remove this bad review unless I receive $50 back. We were very disappointed. Not visiting this restaurant again.
On a visit to Pittsburgh down i came across this Turkish restaurant. I ordered Adana Kebab and loved it. Kabab was so yummy. I also ordered Eggplant Marinaras and it was good too.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: Yes
It was an average experience. Came for dinner. Appetizers were good! Ordered hummus and falafels. 4.5/5 Main course was average, ordered: chicken shish kabob 4/5 and lamb adana. 3/5 Waitress mixed our take away order but tried compensating..kinda disappointed as we had to wait 10-15 more mins. first it felt like they didn’t want us to come cuz our booking was for 9 30 but the traffic outside was very congested so that made us late, however since we made a reservation before, I guess that saved us the seat but not the looks that were given to us. So first it was like they didn’t want us to come but then it felt like they didn’t want us to leave! Haha! But overall experience Like I said was average. Would think again before coming here.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. I had tea, lamb and baklava for dessert. Forgot, the humus was spot on perfect.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
Overall, a great restaurant! We went in on a whim for lunch when other restaurants were not open or had unexciting menus. We are met with a great smell of Mediterranean food that puts you in the mood to eat. Our server, Monica was great. Fast service, didn't come by too often, and remembered our order without writing anything down, a rare skill nowadays. We started with the apple cinnamon tea and Turkish tea, which was a great complement for a cold day. Both teas were tasty - the Turkish tea tasted just like Lipton has Lipton just perfected Turkish tea? We ordered the hummus - not only was the hummus really good, but the bread it comes with was perfect. The outside was the perfect crunch while the inside was so soft it almost felt like you were eating dough which I loved. We ordered the gyro lunch special which is a really good value - the gyro was a little dry for my taste, but still tasted good. The fries were awesome as it's been for every Mediterranean restaurant I've been too. The salad has the most effort put in of any Mediterranean place I've been to, a very good touch. We also ordered the veggie appetizer and the leek appetizer. My SO loved both of them. Overall, a great surprise of a restaurant and a great value. I don't know when I'll be back in Pittsburgh, but I'll definitely want to come back here! Vegetarian options: vegetarian options are great, potentially better than the meats which is saying something for a Mediterranean restaurant
