Stayed over for a night stay. Very welcoming from the check in to check out! Compare to other hotels in the same level the prices are very reasonable! Will definitely stay there again! Great hotel in downtown Vancouver.

Me and some friends went to sneak onto the roof and take photos up there, security was very vigilant and quickly was able to identify us as not being guests and deal with us appropriately and quickly. We were escorted off of the premises by a very polite woman who told us we weren't allowed to do that and not to come back unless we planned to stay very politely I might add. I would give the Sutton hallways we sneaked through a four out of five and the staff a 5 for there quick, well executed and polite response. Great experience there.

The location is the best thing about the hotel - right next to Robson, with the pretty much the entire downtown accessible by walking. 
Overall, the hotel is quite old, and the facilities and rooms reflect that. The rooms are nice and spacious, and offer a great view. The gym, pool and jacuzzi are good as well.
Everything here has a sort of an old-world charm, and it seems you've been transported back to the 90s. It is not fancy and modern like Four Seasons is, but you would not be disappointed with this hotel.

I reserved a king size room for way too much as a small honeymoon with my wife and son. Great location for shopping and restaurants, however the room itself as well as from the 2nd floor up in the hotel is a little dated.  When I reserved I informed them I had a small child and would like an early check-in so he could nap, instead I received a different room because the one I had reserved wasn't ready and it was very noisy for a child. He couldn't nap or even sleep fully through the night like he has at many other hotels. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with small children and I will probably never stay here again based on price and quality of stay.

Beautiful hotel - the suites are clean and luxurious. The hotel is located in the heart of Vancouver's downtown; it's a quick walk to great restaurants and venues. Staff are friendly. The attached restaurant, Boulevard, is fantastic and has a reasonable happy hour menu (try the oysters!)
