The lobby appears to have been recently updated and was a good place to spend some time. It's a little drafty if people are regularly going in and out. Our room seemed to be bit less recent, but was perfectly servicable. Slept great! We were disappointed that our room wasn't cleaned on our second day, though. One thing to note is that this hotel has some of the smallest elevators I've ever seen.

Excellent hotel conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. The staff was very friendly and efficient. There are a tremendous number of restaurants and other nightlife on Granville Street a block away to keep you entertained. The room was in excellent condition.

Overall a very pleasant stay. Stayed in both the standard and executive rooms and they were both large with a king size bed and a sofa. Service at the counter was professional and courteous. 
Location was great only steps away to Davie Village and a short walk to Yaletown and the sky train. 
The only drawback is that the building is quite old, and the elevators, corridors, and washrooms show signs of age. 
I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for about a week while visiting. The staff were very friendly and at the time the hotel was going through a renovation so it was a bit of a mess. The location was great and it was easy to get to downtown via walking and transit but be prepared to wear comfortable shoes. The pool was strange but we still managed to use it while we were there. Overall it was a decent stay and we would stay here again.

Terrific hotel for the money put out, which isn't much considering the location. I was approximately a 5 minute walk from Yaletown which has some nice looking bars, micro breweries and I believe a micro distillery too. I was a 10 minute walk from the main drag and 20 from Gastown. 
The room was clean and in true Vancouver fashion overlooked a Starbucks. The bathroom was pretty small, at least the one in my room was. The gym is basic, but I've seen worse. I managed to get a workout in during my stay.
