Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Manager Steve and co. took the time to answer our questions and made Jacqueline and I feel welcome and relaxed when shopping for a new bike. I would highly recommend them if you're looking for a bike or require service and/or repairs. Glad to see female mechanics on staff. It was especially encouraging for Jacky as she was just getting back into riding after a long hiatus. Bonus points for the community focus and social/environmental responsibility! Will definitely make an effort to visit again next time I'm in town. My only complaint is there's no shop like this in my city (Windsor)...yet.

I've been here a few times in the past couple months and the service is great! Once I got great advice on choosing a new chain lube, and the second they gave me a replacement for a small part stolen from my bike. Both stops took about three minutes. Great spot!

The folks at Switchback will go out of their way to help you with your cycling needs- both mundane and unusual. Had a great experience getting a couple of flats fixed there, and have seen them give friendly, excellent service to folks with a whole variety of bike ailments. They are committed to their craft, and their community. It's so great to have them in the neighborhood.

When I was cycling my bike wire got caught on my shoe and ripped the wire right out. I took it into the shop and they fixed it the same morning on the spot. Everyone is very friendly and the service was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

$600 for breaks wheels and tune? It's a 25 year old specialized! I've tuned it 3 times in its life, never more than $200. $15 to replace a tire is like $120 per hour, for labour (tire not included. Never had a problem with my ride, and I ride this thing daily. Maybe I got unlucky, but there are 3 other shops in the hood, all way cheaper. I picked up my bike, and the parts and got the work done elsewhere. It's not a Maserati.
