The restaurant is awesome looking. The lights, the colors, all spot on. Loved their salsas and chips. The burrito was very tasty and the shell was freshly made. Loved the atmosphere and the employees were awesome. My only problem was getting a mixed drink. Although they have serve alcohol, they didn’t seem to be good at make cocktails. Maybe because we went during the day. I would have loved to see this place lit up at night!
You can try better tacos somewhere else. Chips way too greasy. Not handmade tortillas. They weren’t good. This restaurant is just the looks. Other than that. I wouldn’t come. I paid $180 for two tacos. And a water! Crazy prices too. Not good tacos. Plus the guacamole wasn’t fresh. I had dark guacamole in my tacos
Stays open til late. Have to pay parking but they validate your ticket to get a discount. They have a good variety of meats and choices. Tacos were a good size, over loaded with meat and avocado. Taste was good and staff was very friendly.
I passed by several times, wowed by the neon light. I didn’t stop by because I figure the place probably overrated; a glorified taco shop. I was nearby at another establishment and decided to stop by. The service was actually really good. I liked that they serve beers; most taco shops only serve soft drinks. I only had two taco and they were good. I went on a Friday and there was a DJ playing, which added to the atmosphere. Only negative is they are slightly pricy for the average Mexican, but if you are paid in dollars, then it’s very reasonably priced.
Just a tourist trap… the meat was full of fat and gristle and the prices were a little expensive for TJ. Tortillas we’re not have made and they were disgustingly cheap tasting. Chips were very greasy. I will not eat here again. So many other better taco stands. The only cool thing was the neon astronaut ‍ with a taco
The concept is spectacular the ambience is incredibly unique for a taco spot The service is lacluster and the tacos are only okay. beers were super cold but Tijuana is the capital of tacos in Mexico it is hard to compete and the standard of excellence is set high. A great deal more options in this city but if you need to get your hands on a taco and you just crossed the border they are not horrible it should satisfy your fix. They are still better than anything you're going to find in the US.
Fun, vibrant place! Food was good and reasonable. Guacamole and vampiro was very delicious. Service is very attentive.
Great food stand in the Pueblo Amigo area. I stay at the Quartz and Pueblo Amigo Hotels regularly and I always enjoy eating here. The carne asada is excellent. They have hard liquor too!!
So amazing! The tacos were gluten-free so were the fries!! Ate here 3 times during my stay!Food: 5/5
Just walked across the street from New Medical Center. Was attended right away, ordered 1 asada, 1 mixto and 1 Adobada. All were great my favorite was Carne asada. Ordered 3 tacos and a coke 120 pesos $6 usd it was great came with chips and salsa. Would recommend.
