I really like this place. It's basically like a fancy version of a traditional Street Taco vendor. I love what they have done. The establishment was very clean as well. I love how they let me sample everything before I made a purchase as well. The Al Pastor (spicy pork), once again, were my favorite taco.

Overall a very cute joint and very low prices. My least favorite part was the ordering process. A large group of first time customers (just like us) arrived right before us, and we waited in line behind them for 10 minutes before realizing we were in the wrong line. There are 3 different lines, one for steak and pork tacos, another for beef tacos, etc. This was difficult to navigate because our group was ordering from all three of these lines. However, the staff was extremely helpful and one employee helped us and took all of our orders at once so we didn’t have to split up throughout the lines. Our food came rather quickly, and it was pretty decent for the price. The portions are rather small, 3-4 tacos is probably enough for a meal. We decided to order the tongue fries as an adventure, however when they arrived we realized that the half portion alone was enormous. The half portion of fries is definitely enough for several people to share.

This was my first time eating here and it was great! Some of the best tacos I've ever had. Based on a recommendation from my friend who selected the place, I ordered 3 of their adobada tacos and was blown away with the taste! If you love street style tacos, i highly recommend trying Tacos El Gordo!

Place looks sketchy from the outside, but don't let that deceive you. This hole-in-the-wall place will amaze you. Highly recommended. Each taco type has its own line, so you'll enter multiple lines to try a variety, then hit up the cashier at the end. Lunch rush you might be waiting a while in line, but it's worth it if you have the time. If you don't have the time, then readjust your schedule!

Visit the website and familiarize yourself with the menu prior to coming if your not familiar with this type of food. Fresh and cooked to order right in front of you. Three lines for different types of meats but it helps expedite the process. Very much worth the visit.
