Story

TC's is just a little sushi bar, maybe 25 seats. We are a sushi bar only, no kitchen food. All of our food is fresh, fish delivered daily, and each entree is made fresh to order. We make our sauces and recipes from scratch with only quality ingredients. Vegans and Vegetarians welcome!! We are a California Sushi bar. We also do caters and private parties.

In a word: Strange. Unusual layout; not cozy. Odd music playing in the background. The chefs carry on loud and unusual conversations and have no problem using profanity in a “family” restaurant. Their rolls are okay, but definitely not worth their prices!

Excellent service and incredibly fresh, tasty food! We walked in for some take out and sat at the bar for a snack while we waited for our food to be put together. After some great conversation we found out the head sushi chef is actually the owner. He's so personable and incredibly friendly. The Placer Roll we shared there is one of my favorite rolls I've ever had, and I'm a huge sushi lover. Thank you Rich for your top notch hospitality and fantastic food. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The sushi is alright, nothing spectacular. The price is outrageously expensive, however. Not worth the cost. Used to be decently priced, but constantly rising prices make it a no-go for me. Go to Uncommon Kitchen in New Moon instead.

Not only is it Americanized sushi but it’s bad Americanized sushi. Rice wasn’t proper sushi rice - just seemed like plain rice. Waiters didn’t know the Japanese names of the sushi.

Service is great. Sushi is decent. Buy no hot dishes besides soup.
