We found this place just by walking down the street.  We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat, and we just made a snap decision on having Mexican food.

It was the best decision.

Our server was very courteous and knew everything about their foods and menu.  He made a few recommendations that were spot on.

You HAVE to get the Queso dip with chips!

Mexican meals with a great view. 
The service was outstanding,  with friendly and good humored staff.

The food was good.  The server said they make about 90% of items scratch.  The portions were generous. The meats were lean and well portioned.... and tamales on point.  The queso was pretty tasty,  too.

Overall,  our group of four was pleased,  and would recommend this place.

I ended up staying in town randomly and my hotel gave me a coupon to this place. They had super great service and food. I got the fajita burrito by reccomendation from my server and it was delicious. Highly recommend. If i could change something, I wasn't a big fan of their salsa. I think it had to much cilantro in it for my taste. However, it was certaintly unique!

I had the seafood chimichanga, it was very good! Service was prompt and the value (for being in Tahoe) for the amount of food you get is really reasonable.

We were in 8 people, we came over the winter,  service was good. Food was really yummy and well prepared. Try the flautas and nachos. Definitely coming back. Affordable too.
