Great location! Sweet people!

Thanks for taking us on such short notice. The campground is clean and Bill is extremely friendly and helpful. The only reason I am not giving a five star rating is due to lack of a pool or playground if we were to have the grandkids with us, other than that a quiet and restful place. Thanks again Bill!

Our second year here. It's even better than last. The park has cleaned up considerably. The park is all real campers/travelers again. It's still small, still doesn't have a pool, still isn't a resort. But it's 'home'. It's conveniently located and run by great people who have lives outside of here. No one is left without paperwork or instructions. It is most always full so call well in advance. If you have questions, and Bill isn't here, there are plenty of people here to help answer. Yes, it's small but it can accommodate ANY size. There are several buses, Class As, 5ers, as well as Class Cs in here. If you can't drive your rig or trailer in tight places, this is not the place to come. You can cause a lot of damage. There is a train that runs every night. Don't like trains? Don't come here. But the train runs a long way... you may not want to camp in Asheville. Hence, the Biltmore Estate is within 5 miles of the park. Vanderbilt = railroad. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance, unless you want antiques, malls, etc. There is plenty downtown for that. Laundry isn't too far away either. The city transit bus route runs in front of the park. It's also the best price for location. So close to everything you want in the area, and not too far of a drive to Black Mountain. It's a mile away from the VA hospital. We get decent wi-fi (as long as no one is streaming videos or gaming hard), and there is about 25 or so channels of cable. The rocking chairs on the front porch are pretty cool, too. It's great to be back 'home.'

Small park small lots, showing it's age but who isn't. Freindly, clean and reasonably priced. location is great, couple local restaurants that looks good which are with in walking distance.I'll be back. Bill's ok too.
