This RV park is all about the location. Tough turn if coming from the south, but once you are parked it's a convenient, full-hookup location to call home. Quiet and relaxing river-view spot. - Sure there are other campgrounds that have mountain views, maybe a laundromat, but if all you want is to be close town, and have water/electric/sewer/Internet, then this is the place for you.

We stayed here for two weeks in August 2017. We stayed in site 11 the first week (then left for a week or so due to business in another town) and stayed at site 6 the next week. Both sites were on the river and, though we liked site 11 better we couldn't pick up the campground wifi there. We could at site 6, though. Both sites were level, cement and big enough for our rig (40ft motorhome). Bath houses were nice and convenient. No laundry facilities, but there is a laundromat less than a mile up the street. River tubing/kayak business next door. Really cool to watch everyone float down the French Broad River. A walking/biking trail runs right through the campground and all the way to the Park on the River. Really nice and motivating to see everyone jog through the park! Tony (owner) and Vicky & her hubby are super nice and helpful. Tony usually doesn't get in the office until around 10am, so call/visit after then. Absolutely recommend and will return!

Great location if you want to be close to downtown. Right on a trail and the river. Bath facilities weren't great. Hookups seemed functional. Camphost was great.

Location location location... Yes you will be happy staying here it is close to everything in the arts area. Interstate close by as is lots of things to do. Bring your bike as the local bike path runs right through camp. So cool. Alongside the French Broad river with a tube rental next door. CUontheroad

Tough park to get in and out of with a large RV but it can be done. Level sites, friendly staff. Right on a great walking/jogging/biking trail. Very close to the River Arts district and also close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore. Some serious road noise, but this place is all about location and proximity to the things you want to see in Asheville. Also if you are coming during the summer, you are right on the French Broad river which is great for tubing and kayaking. Very informal reservation process.
