Very good fast service, friendly staff. We though there was a problem with the power supply, got a call 2 hours after dropping my pc off to tell me it was the motherboard :-( But I had my computer back less then a week later and it's as good as new!! :-D I will be recommending them to friends.

Came in because I messed up a self repair job and the owner, Robert immediately started to help me troubleshoot. I like fixing things myself and he was really happy to share a wealth of knowledge on the 'how to' and walk me though the steps. These guys know what they are doing and are very curteous. Their store is conveniently located just a few minutes from downtown La Mesa...check them out to get a reliable, quick repair or just learn something new!

someone posted an ad on craigslist offering to pay $100 for negative reviews on this company. I have no experience with them but wanted to offset the scum bag below me who took the money and also posted bad reviews on yelp. anyone who took the cash is dishonest and characterless as well as the person who made the ad. I've got no affiliation with either party, this just really pissed me off for some reason.

It had been a week since I built my first computer by myself when I came home and the machine wouldn't boot. I took my computer to techmate because of their good reviews, their proximity to my house, and the knowledge that my wife would KILL me if I spent anymore time setting up the computer :). When I got to techmate the owner (Robert - I know this because he gave me his card) happily greeted me and immediately started to take the machine apart, all while asking me questions and trouble shooting what could have gone wrong. After checking out all of the hardware and plugging the machine in, it worked (one of those take it to the car dealer and the car doesn't make that sound anymore things). This was really a good thing as far as I was concerned and I was ready to hand him 40-50$ for his time when he informed me that he wasn't going to charge me anything. So hell yeah I wrote these guys a killer review because they deserve it with service like this. I will, in the future always take my computer problems/questions to these guys and I suggest you do the same. Trust me you'll walk out the door with a smile on your face like I did.

Brought my MacBook in to help get a screw who's head had been stripped. The guy working, I believe his name was Robert, was really nice and extremely helpful. Definitely give these guys a chance for any of your computer needs.
